FULL OF HANDY TIPS & IDEAS FROM THE AUTHOR!
I designed this book originally because my brain doesn't work like most people's. In fact, I think very few people's brains actually really work in quite the same way. With that in mind, I tried to leave this book as open-ended as possible, while still feeling structured. I included a pair of pages at the front to talk about the ways I use my own copy, plus ideas on how you might like to add your own spin!

MORE THAN JUST A PLANNER - KEEP TRACK OF WHAT'S IMPORTANT
I used to keep a list of all the important birthdays, family holidays, etc. in the back of whatever planner/notebook/thing I was using most heavily at the time... and wound up with multiple lists, none of which matched, and that's how I wound up drilling my partner's birthday into my head on the wrong date. It's super awkward now that we're married and I'm expected to know this, since I almost always get it wrong. Don't be me - centralize your list of important dates here!

This volume also includes a page inspired by my own planner - VIPs! (That's Very Important Phone #s, to you.) I originally added this page to my planner in the event my partner needed to quickly look something up! I'm chronically ill, so I have all my current doctors listed, plus other handy numbers like the dog groomer, the vet, the pest control place, the health insurance hotline... It's made both our lives easier, since now they always know where to go to find it quickly!

An avid journaler in my youth, I fell off journaling sometime in my mid-20s. I tried (unsuccessfully) more than once to pick it back up, but could never get it to stick the way it had. I just didn't seem to have enough to say whenever I sat down to write, and the more I tried to force myself to write something - ANYTHING - the harder it got.. and the less-inclined I was to pick it back up again the next day.

I developed this format for myself originally: constructed from printer paper, washi tape, and sparkly pens, bound by disc planner discs I picked up on clearance for $2. I'm chronically ill, and I needed a way to start tracking my symptoms, so I figured I would give the journal thing one more go. Amazingly, after some initial tweaks & additions, it clicked!

This system works for me, I think, because it gives a handful of super basic fields - how hard is it to fill it the song currently playing on the speaker? Or the book I listened to all day? And sure, I can fill in the 2 meetings I had... okay, and now let me doodle in a sad rain cloud... and before I know it, the only thing left to fill in is my free-writing space! By then I've usually managed to think of one or two things to say ("Today was rough - I really didn't get enough sleep last night,"; "The dogs were SO. ANNOYING. TODAY,"; "Started my new meds last night: no difference to note yet," etc.). Before you know it, you're done! It usually doesn't take more than a couple of minutes each day, and it's become the first thing I do after I've wrapped my up work day.

This Undated Plannerish Edition most closely resembles my original - part personal organizer, part tracker, part personal journal. It includes a bunch of weekly fields the Pocket Edition lacks, including this great weekly tracker grid. I originally included it to monitor my symptoms, how much sleep I was getting, etc. but I've implemented it for habit tracking as well! (It also comes in clutch when one of our pets needs daily meds too!)

These books are popular enough that I try to keep a small stock at home. Currently, I have the soft-cover version in-house and ready to ship! (In general, please note that these notebooks are made to order. Processing times may vary, and you can find the specific details in the last image attached. Softcover books generally take around 10 days to ship, while hardcover books typically require between 3 and 4 weeks.)

Please note that the video shows the 90's Rainbow edition, so if the colors look off from the photos, that would be why!

Would be great as a college planner, high school planner, office planner, knitting planner, or personal organizer! Make it colorful or leave it monochrome! This is a wonderful creative planner.

There's more where that came from - please visit Thistledew Press' author page to see our full collection, including this book in a variety of other sizes in both hard & soft cover editions.
